因能乐这一契机，老中老公为了去见外甥前田纲纪（榎木 饰），带着助（财木 饰）与格（荒井 饰）一同前往金泽。久违的旅途即将开启，老公（武田 饰）嘴上说去金泽，实则暗中计划前往自己御印制作之地——轮岛。途中，他们遇到武家之女春江（刚力 饰），随后一同前行，不过她好像有难言之隐……抵达轮岛后，因轮岛漆器的利益问题引发了纷争。好不容易平息了事态，正打算离开时，传来金泽出现不祥动向的消息。老公得知后内心不安，觉得这或许和近日总在梦中出现的旧日心腹藤井纹太夫（加藤 饰）有关。更糟糕的是，事端背后似乎隐隐有柳泽吉保（袴田 饰）的身影……众人急忙赶赴金泽，却发现眼前竟是企图暗杀前田纲纪的惊人阴谋！
